3 Things can lower your self-confidence.
Low self-confidence can be a significant hurdle in achieving our goals and living our best life.
It can also affect our mental health and relationships with others.
Although we can put the mask on and portrait to the outside world as a confident person, inside we are struggling to come to terms on how we can feel confident with ourselves.
What I have learnt is that the following 3 things can contribute to low self-confidence:
Negative Self-Talk: The way you talk to yourself can significantly impact your confidence levels.
If you constantly criticise yourself, doubt your abilities, and focus on your flaws and mistakes, you may develop low self-esteem.
It is essential to practice positive self-talk, where you focus on your strengths and accomplishments, and acknowledge your weaknesses without judging or shaming yourself.
Comparing Yourself to Others: Social media and society have created a culture of comparison, where we measure our worth based on how we stack up against others.
Comparing ourselves to others can lead to feelings of inadequacy and low self-esteem.
Remember that everyone has their own journey, and you are on yours.
Focus on your progress, growth, and goals, rather than comparing yourself to others.
Focusing on your failures: Shift your focus towards your strengths, set achievable goals, and celebrate small victories to build your confidence.
Remember to be kind to yourself and work on developing a more positive mindset.
And here it is an interest read on How to achieve your goals.
Change is possible.
Until next time,
Much love,
