I am talking about:
Trusting yourself
Feeling connected to who you are
Felling connected to what you believe
Setting boundaries
Speaking kind and gentle words to yourself
Be in peace with yourself
How much of the above do you practice?
I have been neglecting them for years.
I didn't have a voice.
I didn't know who I was and what I wanted in my life.
I was lost, I let people walk over me (yes, a door mat).
I dint' like what I saw reflected in the mirror.
My thoughts were in charge of my life and my life was just passing by.
What changed?
One day I read the following from a book: "we can always challenge the way we think, feel and act".
That was the game changer for me.
I wanted to see if that was possible with me.
It has worked.
I embarked in a self development journey where I learnt
the abundance living
the power visualisation and manifestation
self-awareness
how to focus my attention on what matters for me
different way of thinking
how to keep the momentum going when in flow state
I am proud of who I am becoming during my self development journey (which it is still ongoing and will never stop).
I have been learning to really tune in with myself and discover who I really am, and what my beliefs and values are.
I have been admiring the person I see reflected in the mirror.
I feel calmer.
I feel centred.
I feel grateful.
I feel happy.
